He enlisted with the U.S. Army on May 7th, 1953 and honorably served his country until 27 April 1955. While serving his country in Germany he met his future bride and love of his life of 58 years.

During their time at the farm they raised three children and spent much time farming and ranching which was Ronald’s passion. MessageMarie and FAMILY! So sorry to hear about Ron. But, he died where his heart was....on the farm! Your family,Marie, is so special to me as I got to teach some of them and some of your grandchildren. What a great family with which to work and enjoy.
We will not be able to attend the memorial services but hope the weather is not a problem for you. It is great to see that Ron will be buried at the ND Vets Cemetery by Mandan. Another great guy who helped with our freedom. Faye and Bud
