Judy was born in Denver, Colorado, September 26, 1938, to J.W. and Jewell (Moore) Field. She lived much of her younger life in Greeley, Colorado with her grandparents during the war years.
Her dad was serving in the Marine Corps in the Pacific and her mother worked at home in the war effort. Judy graduated from high school in 1957 at Wichita Falls, TX.
After graduating from high school, she enrolled at Amarillo Junior College and completed the engineering drafting curriculum there. In 1959, she married Ralph Bolstad. Her husband always said, “He got the very best!!”. She was an excellent wife, mother and grandmother. Judy worked many years as a draftsman before she was diagnosed with MS. The disease slowly eroded her artistic skills over the years. But, even as her physical abilities continued to erode away, she did not complain, but valiantly fought to get the most out of the life she had.
Judy loved her Lord Jesus Christ and her church. She was an active participant in church work to the extent that her health permitted. Ralph and Judy celebrated over 52 plus years of marriage.
They had two children, a son Marlon (Penny) Bolstad and a daughter, Stacie Kay (Lieb) Johnson. Grandchildren surviving include Shannon Bolstad and Carsen Jo Bolstad, and Stephen, Sarah, Caleb, Elijah, and Olivia Johnson.
Judy is also survived by a brother, Joe (Elaine) Field of Ft. Worth. Judy will be greatly missed by her husband, family, and friends.
