Dan Hieb

Dan began his career in the construction industry, gaining experience with Anderson and Lach Construction. Following the completion of a housing complex in south Minot for McGough Construction, Dan joined Tom Assels Construction as a finish carpenter in 1976. He started Hieb Construction in 1979, serving the community of Minot as a general contractor that focused on residential housing and some commercial work. In addition to his career in construction Dan and Jill have also continued to own and operate South Side Storage of Minot for several years.

He found enjoyment in the outdoors and was most often found to be fishing, hunting, boating and camping. His first priority was being a loving husband, devoted father, proud grandfather, trusted brother and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who shared in his life.

| Message | Jill, I remember you and Dan as good friends and always a joy to visit with. It breaks my heart to know somewhat the pain you and your family are experiencing. If I knew the words to say that would take away the pain I would use them. Pastor Jennings told me I wouldn't feel such pain if I hadn't loved so deeply. You feel that pain because Dan was and is loved so deeply. I will keep you in my prayers. |

| Message | Dan will be missed, as days pass and healing takes place. More and more will find that the person behind the scenes that was simply getting things done with out making a lot of noise is not taking those tasks. Dan was busy in life, talked often of the enjoyment construction has brought to him and his family. A community will feel the laps, as Dan was involved in many aspects. I wish to all of his family for peace and bonding as this time passes. Know that family extends much further than just blood line as you well know there were many lives touched by Dan. Michael |

| Message | I am really sad to hear of Dan's passing. I worked with Dan at the base. He was the construction inspector for the new family housing construction and I work at the Housing Office. Dan and his family is in my prayers. I do have some photos of Dan at the base when he came out to accept the last of the MILCON housing units. I will share them with the funeral home and I asked them to share the photos with you. Once again Dan will be missed.
