Theodore R. Krause, 72, Minot, passed away on November 1, 2011 in his home.
Ted was born in McPherson, Kansas on November 14, 1938. He was the son of Fred C. and Gladys G. (Honomichl) Krause. Ted attended local schools in Manhattan and graduated from Manhattan High School. He served in the Kansas Army National Guard in the early 1960’s. He did his basic training at Fort Carson, CO where he fell in love with the state of Colorado.
Ted was a longtime resident of Colorado Springs, CO moving there permanently in 1966. While there he went to college and studied metallurgy. He then went to work for the Hewlett Packard Corporation as a technical support and documentation agent from 1966 until his retirement in 1998. He was once married to Karen Krause who resides in Minot, N.D.
He was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church, Minot.
Ted was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Gladys Krause.
Survivors include a brother, Robert D. Krause and his wife Judy of Manhattan, KS, three nephews and other relatives.

Interment: Bunker Hill Cemetery, Bunker Hill, KS
Visitation: Tuesday, November 8, 2011, from 2-7 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
