"Living With Grief - When A Loved One Is Dying"
When a loved one is dying, it is often difficult to consider one’s own needs and wants.  However, when these needs go unattended to, one may not be able to enjoy the last moments with their dying loved one.  This site offers some useful tips from various literature that may help you along your journey prior to the death of your loved one.

"GriefNet"
GriefNet is an Internet community of persons dealing with grief, death, and major loss.  They have 37 e-mail support groups and two web sites.  Our integrated approach to on line grief support provides help to people working through loss and grief issues of all kinds.  Our companion site, KIDSAID, provides a safe environment for kids and their parents to find information and ask questions.  GriefNet is supervised by Cendra (ken'dra) Lynn, Ph.D., a clinical grief psychologist, death educator, and traumatologist who lives in Michigan, USA.

"KIDSAID"
KIDSAID is a safe place for kids to share and to help each other deal with grief resulting from any of their losses.  It's a place to share and deal with feelings, to show artwork and stories, to talk about pets, and to meet with one's peers.  There will even be some games and contests.  KIDSAID is owned and operated by GriefNet.   It was created and designed by Elizabeth Lynn.

"Growth House, Inc."
This web site is your international gateway to resources for life-threatening illness and end of life care.  Their primary mission is to improve the quality of compassionate care for people who are dying through public education and global professional collaboration.

"The Compassionate Friends"
Grief support after the death of a child.  The mission of The Compassionate Friends is to assist families in the positive resolution of grief following the death of a child and to provide information to help others be supportive.  The compassionate Friends is a national nonprofit, self-help support organization which offers friendship and understanding to families who are grieving the death of a child of any age, from any cause.  There is no religious affiliation. There are no membership fees or dues, and all bereaved family members are welcome.

"Survivors of Suicide"
The purpose of the Survivors Of Suicide web site is to help those who have lost a loved one to suicide resolve their grief and pain in their own personal way.  The grief that survivors of suicide experience is unique.  The questions often left behind are at times unbearable.  It is our hope that this site will offer information that will help answer some of those questions, as well as provide a safe place for survivors and friends of survivors to share their struggle and pain and offer comfort and understanding to others who have experienced a similar loss.

"CaregiverZone"
This site is not necessarily a grief link.  It is a site that has information for those who are caring for an elderly parent, or may be in the near future.

"The Association for Pet Loss and Bereavement, Inc."
The APLB is a compassionate non-profit organization dedicated to helping people during this very special kind of bereavement.  We are constantly improving and publicizing all the services available, concerning the loss of a pet.
