Retired Lt. Colonel Almon Burton Strong, devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, friend, and Patriot passed away December 22, 2016 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. A memorial celebration of the life of Almon B. Strong is tentatively scheduled for Cornerstone Presbyterian Church on July 27, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Al will be interred next to his wife, Marge, in the veteran’s section of Rosehill Cemetery in Minot, North Dakota. Should friends’ desire, memorial contributions should be made to Wounded Warriors Project, PO Box 758541, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8541.

Anderson, 98, New Hope, MN, formerly of Kenmare and Minot, died Sunday, December 11, 2016 in a New Hope care center and his wife, Ila Marion Anderson, 94, Eden Prairie, MN, formerly of Minot and Kenmare, died October 18, 2016 in an Eden Prairie Assisted Living Facility. A graveside service will be held in the summer of 2017 at Lakeside Cemetery, Kenmare. Memorials are preferred to Zion Lutheran Church, Minot.
