Richard P. Larsen
Richard P. Larsen, 91, Mt. Pleasant, Iowa and Minot, died Wednesday, July 11, 2018 in an Iowa City hospital. A funeral service is tentatively scheduled for July 31, 2018 at First Lutheran Church, Minot. A time will be announced at a later date.
Clare Mathistad
Clare Ellis Mathistad, 69, of Minot and Watford City, ND passed away peacefully with his family at his side at Valley Eldercare in Grand Forks, ND on November 15th, 2017 after a multi-year battle with cancer. A memorial service for Clare will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 28th at Bethany Lutheran Church, 215 3rd Ave. SE in Minot and will be streamed for online viewing at http://bethanylutheran.tv. In lieu of flowers, any memorial gifts may be made to Tufte Manor, a basic care community associated with Valley Memorial Homes in Grand Forks, where Clare spent some of his happiest years and viewed his time there as “Living in Paradise.” The address and phone number for Tufte Manor are 3300 Cherry Street, Grand Forks, ND 58201 - (701) 787-7600.
